Donald is busy making a cookbook, pasting recipes into it using rubber cement. At the same time, a radio cooking program starring Mother Mallard begins. This week's recipe: Golden-Brown Waffles. He tries mixing the waffles, but gets too distracted and uses the rubber cement in place of baking powder.
The chime on the radio was NBC's chime.
